I’ve purchased The Sims 4 game last Saturday. And I was very excited about it. I love The Sims. I enjoy playing it since I was 17 or 18. I love playing the Sims 1, 2, 3 and now 4. Unlike most “Simmers”, I don’t play everyday. Because of things that have to be dealt with, with normal everyday life. I don’t have all the time in the world to spend hours playing it. But it doesn’t mean that I’m not a “Simmer”. 😀 During my late teen years and very early twenties, I spent hours playing The Sims 2. I was still living with my parents and don’t have any “career” yet. But now, I have an online biz to attend to and a household of 2 to co-manage.
2 years ago, I play The Sims 3 without any expansion pack/s, then last year I added the “Island Paradise” expansion pack, and I was pretty much playing everyday for 1-2 hours. Then I read about, The Sims 4. I saw some previews online and I was pretty impressed about how it looks and the graphics and the gameplay. I got quite giddy, but there was no news about when it’ll be released for Mac users. I’m not sure, but I think the Mac version got released April or May of this year. I was very interested, and checked out the website. It was expensive so I know I won’t get it. But with research, and with the help of Toni we were able to buy it for a little less than the website price. I was very excited to install and play it. But I waited ’til Monday to fully play it, so I can stream it on Twitch. It takes a little while to get used to it. It’s very good, I’m happy with it. So, now I have to make time for it. I’m quite impressed with how The Sims evolved.
One of the things I like about The Sims, is creating them. I like choosing the hair, hair color, clothes, etc. With The Sims 4, they took it to the next level. I like how the clothes look like, the hair & hairstyles, it’s just very good. But for now, there’s still a lot for me to explore and learn.
